Celebrates 25 years

In 2022, Sustainable Harvest International celebrated 25 years of farming for a just and sustainable future by honoring the people and organizations who’ve made this work possible.

Over 25 years, 8,000 supporters joined more than 3,200 farming families to form an ecosystem of advocates for a healthier planet. The SHI community spans 37 countries and 6 continents, from Maine, USA to Penonomé, Panama to Zürich, Switzerland and beyond.

Special in-person events and digital profiles throughout the year highlighted the diverse ecosystem of supporters who forged SHI’s success as a forerunning leader in the field of agroecology and regenerative agriculture.

A Celebration of SHI’s Ecosystem

To celebrate SHI’s 25 years, we honored 25 people and organizations who’ve helped us become the organization we are today.

For each person honored here, there are hundreds of others who’ve contributed to SHI’s mission to create a just and sustainable world. Although we can’t possibly honor everyone, we hope this cross-section of SHI’s community sheds light on the ever-expanding rings of generosity, knowledge, compassion, and hope at the core and heart of our work.
