Roots of Renewal film Screenings

Watch the powerful documentary showing how family farmers create lasting change.

In the documentary Roots of Renewal, farmers in Sustainable Harvest International’s (SHI) program deliver a powerful message:

Small-scale farmers offer us tremendous hope for a resilient planet.

Unfortunately, many family farmers face hardships when trying to grow food, including climate change, lack of resources, and lack of training. That’s where SHI’s program, fueled by supporters like you, intervenes. Watch the film to learn more about the many benefits of agroecology, and join us in-person to hear from the film’s creators.

The film will be screened at various locations across the United States in 2025. Upcoming film screenings include:

  • May 27 | 4:30 pm EDT | New York

  • July 8 | 5:30 EDT | Maine
