Testimonial from Ofelia Sho - Belize

lorena stoveSince 1990, I have been hearing about the Lorena Stove, I had no idea of what it looks like, or if I was going to be the owner of one! By the generous support of SHI thru its extensionists I was able to get one.

My Lorena Stove was constructed in two days. On July 27th, 2004, work on the stove was completed, and since then I began using it on a daily basis. I really enjoy cooking on the stove for the following reasons: (1) it uses less firewood; (2) the smoke goes up the chimney as opposed to getting in my eyes and lungs; and (3) I can stand near it and hardly ever feels the heat. It is a lot better than an open fire hearth.

I am very glad for it and would like for others to learn about this Lorena Stove and I am sure they will want one. The oven works good too.

I say thanks again for their kind help.

Mrs. Ofelia Sho
