Sustainable Harvest International believes in creating a positive work environment where all staff are empowered to do the best work they possibly can. We do this through providing support and training for all employees, in addition to using a number of cutting edge workspace tools. We pride ourselves in being a modern and supportive work environment (and, we don't subscribe to the Overhead Myth).
Sustainable Harvest International, headquartered in Ellsworth, Maine, has worked with Central American families in rural farming communities since 1997. We currently have programs in Belize, Honduras, and Panama.
Local field trainers work together with families, individuals, and communities to preserve our planet's tropical forests while overcoming poverty. Our five-phase approach to solving the agricultural, ecological and economic problems of Central America is innovative, hands-on and long-term.
