Job Opportunities

Sorry, we have no job opportunities at this time.

We seek to reverse the tide of poverty and environmental destruction that plagues our world. SHI facilitates long-term collaboration among trained local staff, farmers and communities to implement sustainable land-use practices that alleviate poverty by restoring ecological stability.  From small-scale farmers to grassroots community groups, we seek to inspire and support others in their efforts to alleviate poverty through sustainable land-use practices.

The most valuable assets in achieving our mission are our employees. SHI's core values are:

  • Results: Above all we are committed to achieving environmental conservation and poverty alleviation results.

  • Integrity: We are honest, responsible and accountable within SHI and with others.

  • Respect: As a global, multicultural organization, we value and expressly recognize the unique skills and perspectives of our employees, supporters, partners and the communities in which we work.

Sustainable Harvest International is a nonprofit organization dedicated to poverty alleviation through environmental conservation. SHI is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Women and minorities are encouraged to apply.

Please join us in our mission to build a global network of local partners working toward environmental, economic and social sustainability.

Translators:  We are in need of volunteer translators to work on Spanish to English and English to Spanish translations.  Projects to include our website, email updates, testimonies from participant farmers, training manuals and educational and outreach material.  Translators can work from home or from our offices.
